Scarecrows Centers

This week our theme was scarecrows but we also did a few Halloween centers.  :)  Halloween kind of snuck up on me this year and well there is just never enough time to get it all in.  Here are a few of the centers that we did this week for math and literacy.
 
initial sounds/writing cvc words
 one of our pocket chart activities this week

 practiced reading and writing color words
aabb pattern practice
 practiced writing number words 1-10
 one-to-one counting to 10
 Pocket chart puzzle that goes along with 
"The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything"

  5. Robynn, Me TOO! I LOVE me some DJ Inkers. I just blew it up with the elm and traced it on the color construction paper. Then chopped the poster board and pieced it together. :)

    What wonderful ideas! Will these be available to purchase on TPT? I love toget these to use! I have the old scarecrow from the MCCRACKEN Company from many, mnay years ago! The illustrator, Megan Lloyd live a few miles from me!
