Llama Llama Red Pajama

Thursday was Jumpstart's Read for the Record day where more than 2 million people around the world joined together to call for an end to America's early education gap.  If you are interested you can find out more about this program at http://www.readfortherecord.org.  Our school always makes this a fun special day and this year was no different.  The book this year was Llama Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney.  We have the BEST reading coach in the world.  She truly is amazing and does an AWESOME job planning and organizing fun activities for our kiddos.  Check out the pictures below to see all of the fun that we had!   :)

We had a Pajama Party with Mrs. Landers
(our AWESOME reading coach).  She read us the story Llama Llama Red Pajama
and had the kiddos participated by saying
"Llama Llama Red Pajama" when it was in the story.
Mrs. Landers
Then we got to go outside and see a REAL Llama!  :)
She gave us a diagram of a llama to label and
then we had to compare and contrast a real llama
with Llama Llama Red Pajama from the story.
Our kiddos LOVED it!  :)
