Pumpkins & Scarecrows

It's a BEAUTIFUL fall day here in Bama so it is only fitting for this post to be about pumpkins and scarecrows, right?  We just wrapped up our pumpkin & scarecrow units this week as we learned all about the letters P & C.  These are always super fun units to teach and my kiddos always seem to enjoy learning about fall.  We also learned about Fire safety (during the month of October) and had some special visitors.  FUN FUN!  Here are a few of the activities/skills that we did over the past two weeks as well as a few pics
with our fire safety visitors.  :)
 CVC Word Practice
 1:1 counting & more/less
This worked great to reinforce these important skills.

One of my sweet little boys dad is a firefighter
and he so graciously offered to come
talk to our class about fire safety.  :)

  1. Super cute activity sheets! And the firefighter visit looks like it was really fun. What a friendly safety dog mascot!
