Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Fun!

This week our theme was Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.  This is always a fun unit and a great way to wrap up learning letters A-Z before we begin focusing on a letter of the week (our reading program is Scott Foresman Reading Street).  Below you can check out some of the literacy and math centers that we worked on as well as some theme time fun!  :)

Chicka Shape Tree

We had a Chicka Party, ate REAL coconut, and drank a coconut smoothie.

 We used our 5 senses to explore a coconut.

 We tasted coconut

 and drank a coconut smoothie

and then we graphed...Do you like the taste of coconut?
