My name is Jamie Stracener Mayas. I have been married to my husband Bradley for 5 years and we have one son, Bryson, that turned 2 in March. I have been teaching Kindergarten at Big Spring Lake for 5 years and I feel so blessed to be a part of such a great school and work with so many talented people.
I was raised in Albertville and attended Douglas High School. I earned my Bachelor's degree in elementary education from Jacksonville State University in 2006 and my master's degree from The University of West Alabama in the 2009. I feel as though teaching children is a calling that God has placed on my heart. I truly love working with children and watching them grow, learn, and succeed.
