Oceans of Fun!

Long time no blog yall.  OMIWORD, we have been SOOOOO busy wrapping up the end of the year and I am super excited to say only 5 MORE days.  YAHOOO!!!!!  :)  Just to give you an idea of all of our craziness we had 1st grade move-up on Tuesday (because we are an all kindergarten school we have to take them across town), graduation Tuesday night, field day today, as well as our end of the year party and let me just tell you this teacher is exhausted!!!!  For the past 2 weeks we have been learning all about the ocean and I am sad to say that I completely forgot to take pictures of our centers.  BOO.  However, I did manage to get a few pics of these OH SO CUTE ocean crafts that Julie Lee and I collaborated on.  If you are interested you can pick them up by clicking HERE.  I hope you all have a relaxing weekend!  :)

Oceans of Fun Part 1 & FREEBIE!

Whew!  What a week we have had!  This week my kiddies were "dibeled" and boy am I excited to say that is OVER!  ;)  Of course they all did great and I am SO proud of all of them.  This week we also began our Oceans of Fun unit.  We learned ALL about the ocean and made some SUPER cute crafty things (that I will post on later) but for now here are the math and literacy activities that we worked on.  :)

NEAEC Conference 2012

Our amazing school is hosting its 4th annual Northeast Alabama Early Childhood Conference (NEAEC Conference) on Wednesday, 

July 25, 2012.  This is going to be the best conference yet and we are going to have some AMAZING presenters some of which you probably know like 

Kim Adsit from Kindergals

Jennifer White from First Grade Blue Skies

  and

Leslie Ann Rowland from Life in First Grade

as well as many other fantastic local presenters.

The registration fee is $55.00 before May 16th and then goes up to $65.00.

This is definitely a conference that you will not want to miss.  :)  If you are interested you can download the brochure from below fill it out and mark your choices for sessions and get it back to us ASAP!  :)  This will kind of be like a little blogger meet up.  Hope to see you there!  :)
