 OK, so on to my fun weekend...so my sweet little husband surprised me (for Christmas) with Jason Aldean & Luke Bryan tickets in Nashville for this past Friday night and let me just tell you IT WAS AMAZING!  :)  We have not been on a get away since our little man was born almost 2 years ago so it was great to get to spend some much needed time together without chasing around a 2 year old and getting to see this wasn't to bad either

and about all I can say about that is M..M..M..!  :)

Anywho, this past week we learned about presidents, did some fun center activities  & made some really cute George & Abe crafts .

This is a video of Jack visiting my classroom.  You all know how hilarious kids can be...so when he walked in one of my sweet babies said "Is he the REAL Jack Hartmann?".  SO funny.  Jack responded by singing their FAVORITE song to prove himself.  ;)

Gearing Up for Jack & Valentine's Day Fun!

OHMIWORD!  I am SO excited I can hardly STAND IT!  Jack Hartmann is coming to perform for our Kindergarten babies tomorrow.  We did this last year also and it was a BLAST and I absolutely CAN NOT wait to do it again!  If you are close by (Albertville) you should definitely sign up to bring your students for next years show (we hope to keep this going-you can e-mail me for more info).  :)  Any who, so as you know today was the big LOVE day and boy were my kiddos excited.  We had loads of fun sharing our valentine's and even got to dance to a CUTE Jack Hartmann valentine video.  (I have included a link to the video on you tube below.)  Also, don't forget today is the LAST day for my "LOVE DAY" TPT sale.  :)

Valentine Love Monsters, a Giveaway, and a FREEBIE!

Hey y'all!  What an AMAZINGLY FUN busy week we have had!  :)  This week our theme was Valentine's Day and we worked on some CUTE Love Monster activities.  We also did some fun activities with Goldilocks and the Three Bears (this was our story from our reading series this week).  Just so happens Goldilocks (our AWESOME reading coach Mrs. Landers) paid a visit to our school and broke our principal's chair and then RAN through the school leaving every classroom a surprise.  :)  SO MUCH FUN!  Check out some of our FUN pictures from this week.

Penguins, a Freebie, & a giveaway! :)

This week our theme was penguins and what fun we had.  Our student teacher Ms. Fuller started her 10 days of teaching this week and she did a fabulous job.  I am quite impressed!  She will def. make an awesome teacher someday soon.  :)  Here are a few of the math centers that we did as well as some cute penguin facts and symmetrical penguins.

Here are a few of the math centers that we worked on.  I am attaching a freebie on the bottom of the "How many fish in the Penguins Tummy?" sheet.  All of the other centers can be found in my Penguin Math Unit on TPT.

I thought these turned out SO cute.  I love "kid" art!  :)

I totally forgot to take pictures of the kids measuring each other with the penguin.  This was SUCH a cute activity and of course they LOVE that an Emperor penguin is taller than some of our friends.  :)
