That's right ANOTHER giveaway! I am so excited to announce that Heidi Butkus from Heidi Songs and I are teaming up to do a giveaway! If you follow my blog already you probably have heard me reference or talk about how much I LOVE Heidi Songs! I truly do. Her DVD's are a MUST have! My absolute favorite Heidi DVD is the Singable Songs for Letters & Sounds. This DVD has a cute little rhyme/song for each letter in the alphabet focusing on the letter name and sound. It is SO amazing at how much these have helped my kiddos, and here's the best part IT IS FREE to one LUCKY person!
Isn't it just WONDERFUL! This is one of my FAVORITE times of year and some of my favorite times in my classroom. We will be working NONE stop for the next 3 weeks trying to squeeze in as many Christmas activities and ornaments as we possibly can. So ready, set, here we go! Here are the centers that we are working on this week.
WHEW! I am still trying to get caught up -- is there even such a thing! Over the past 2 weeks our theme has been Pilgrims & Turkeys along with more Native American activities. We have also been busy, busy, practicing our Thanksgiving Program that we will perform tomorrow and making cute headbands for us to wear to the Pow Wow that we will have will also have tomorrow. I will post pics later from the Pow Wow. It always turns out to be a great fun day of learning. Here are a few highlights from the the last 2 weeks.
Last week was kind of a blur for me. Our AMAZING school was honored at the Alabama Reading Association's fall conference in Montgomery for winning the Exemplary Reading Program Award for the state of Alabama. Our Leadership team had the opportunity to do a presentation at the conference so there was LOTS of planning, preparation and then 2 days out of the classroom. All that to say I am BEHIND in the blogging world and I am sorry! Here are a few math and literacy centers that my kiddos worked on last week and be on the look out tomorrow for our centers from this week. If you like something you see let me know and I will be glad to send it to you! Happy Hump Day! :)
This week our theme was scarecrows but we also did a few Halloween centers. :) Halloween kind of snuck up on me this year and well there is just never enough time to get it all in. Here are a few of the centers that we did this week for math and literacy.
